12 Good Deeds

1. Kiva.org

Kiva.org which is supported and endorsed by world leaders including former US President Bill Clinton, is a non-profit organization that allows you to lend money to a specific entrepreneur in the developing world – empowering them to lift themselves out of poverty. Whatever donation you make, big or small is repaid within a specific time period allowing you to re-loan that money to other entrepreneurs.

Last year, Panther Radio donated money to help Lizzy Amadasun open her General store in Nigeria as well as Esther Olomi get her Animal Sales business off the ground also in Nigeria. Both loans were repaid in full within a year and that money has now been donated to Khanthy Ang in Cambodia so she can purchase seeds and rent land to expand her vegetable garden.
